Number 42 Branding

After years of eating the culinary delights created by top seafood chef Gordon McNeil, we were salivating at the opportunity given to us to create the brand identity for his new venture Number Forty Two, located in Campbeltown.

The new device uses the chef’s initials G & M in the shape of a fishhook, on a plate. We took inspiration from the chef himself who regularly signed his dishes and used this to develop the brand, creating an elegant and very personal logo for this new and flourishing business.

Project Conclusion

Number 42 opened in 2021, specialising in seafood and locally sourced quality produce. Situated in the heart of Campbeltown, the restaurant offers fine dining and an exceptional culinary experience under the innovation and expertise of chef Gordon McNeil.
